Welcome to NECYPAA Advisory

(New England Conference of Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous)

We hope that you find what you are looking for on this website.  This years NECYPAA will be a blast.  The host committee is actively working on all the preparations.  Check back frequently, or sign up on our newsletter to keep up to date.

Preamble

The New England Conference of Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous (NECYPAA) is a fellowship of men and women who combine their experience, strength and hope as a means of reaching out to young people, and anyone with room to grow, who desire recovery from alcoholism and the solution as suggested in the principles of A.A.

NECYPAA functions within the Principles of A.A., fosters unity among all people seeking to solve our common problem and is willing to help others recover from alcoholism.  We do not propose to be a universal answer or governing board for young people; we are here to share our experience with all who seek our help.

Purpose

The Advisory Council of NECYPAA was formed in 1989 for the expressed purpose of establishing and maintaining an annual Conference, within New England, grounded in the Principles of Alcoholics Anonymous. As the custodian of the Conference experience, we guard with special care the traditions of A.A., further the Principles of A.A. and ensure the continuation of the Conference. Advisory is the custodian of the archival materials. As such, Advisory should offer to the A.A. fellowship and anyone who requests information, within the guidelines established by the Public Information Committee, regarding young people, young people's groups, and young people's conferences pertaining to recovery in Alcoholic Anonymous. Advisory should make its conference experience available to General Services on an annual basis.
